Soviet leader… the death of former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev

Former Soviet Union President Mikhail Gorbachev has died at the age of 92, Russian media announced, Tuesday. “On Tuesday evening, after a long struggle with a serious illness, Mikhail Sergei Gorbachev passed away,” the Central Hospital of the Russian Presidency said in a statement. Gorbachev was the last to rule the Soviet Union, before its collapse in 1991.
